The Stoke Lodge Hotel is a country house hotel, facing south and enjoying one of the best climates in Britain. The hotel is family run with friendly and efficient staff to ensure first-class service and comfort. The hotel is set in three acres of grounds comprising of beautifully kept gardens, lawns and wooded areas including the old village pond. Also in the grounds you will find an all-weather tennis court, putting green and even a giant chess set. The hotel has a choice of indoor and outdoor swimming pools so you can always enjoy a swim whatever the weather. The outdoor pool and terrace are a real sun trap in the summer while the indoor pool is situated alongside a sauna and Jacuzzi.

All 25 bedrooms have en-suite facilities together with colour television, telephone, radio and tea and coffee making facilities. Trouser press and hairdryers are available upon request.

The restaurant is most attractive and special attention is paid to the preparation of good food. Local produce is used whenever possible - the finest meats, freshly caught fish and farm vegetables. The chef produces an extensive table d'hote menu daily and an à la carte menu is also available. There are also 100 wines from which to choose.
